Dutchess County’s Mobile Health Unit is coming to Red Hook Thursday, July 17, and vaccinations for students are among the services that will be offered, with prior notice.
The Mobile Health Unit will be at the Red Hook Community Center at 59 Fisk St. from noon to 4 p.m. It will provide medical services that include urgent care, answering general health questions, sexual health screenings, providing tick prevention kits and information, hands-on CPR training, mental health resources and more. The staff can also help connect individuals with primary care providers.
For students to receive a vaccination, a parent/guardian will need to contact the immunization program at 845-486-2963 to confirm which vaccines are needed. They will then need to fax or email the student’s immunization records to the immunization coordinator for review. A time for the vaccinations will then be scheduled with the family.
